Overview

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT) at Borrell USA Corp, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our electro-mechanical systems. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn and have a passion for working with both electrical and mechanical components. While no extensive prior experience is required, a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and develop new skills is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of electro-mechanical systems under the guidance of senior technicians.

  • Troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement solutions.

  • Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of machinery and components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the development of new products and improvements to existing systems.

  • Travel across the Central Valley region to various job sites as required for installations and repairs.

  • Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and techniques in the field of electro-mechanical systems.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.

  • Follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles is preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.

  • Strong aptitude for learning and a genuine interest in electro-mechanical systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the Central Valley as needed.

  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and machinery.

  • Previous experience in a related field is beneficial but not required.

  • English and Spanish language is preferred but not required

Compensation
